The clock is ticking with the End of Support of Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2 just a few months away1. For customers who cannot migrate their applications before the deadline, Microsoft provides an Extended Security Updates option. However, this will require migrating the applications onto Azure public cloud or hybrid cloud which may not work in many government situations.
