GTI joins industry leaders to donate her scholarships to Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE)
GTI joins industry leading organizations, corporations and other generous donors to donate her scholarships to the students of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE). A Student Awards Reception was held today at the Morrison Hill Campus of IVE which was addressed by Dr LO Kin Ki, Senior Deputy Executive Director of Vocational Trainging Council. The ceremony was officiated by the Hon. Dr Tam Wai Ho Samson, JP, Chairman of Group Sense (International) Limited.
“IVE is instrumental in developing new generation of professional workforce and valuable talent for Hong Kong,” remarked Kris Chan, Marketing Director of GTI. “We are pleased to have this opportunity to contribute to IVE’s success”.
The GTI scholarships went to two brilliant students, Mr. FAN Chi Hang and Mr. SO Tsz Fai, both final year students of the Department of Information and Communication Technology of IVE (Tsing Yi). IVE (Tsing Yi) is a technology dream campus in which technology is integrated in everyday teaching and learning. It is a pioneer in adopting virtualization technologies in its computing infrastructure to significantly boost the productivity of its teaching activities and to optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency.
