ITRC Forum 2017

“ITRC Forum”, organized by Information Technology Resource Centre (ITRC) of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), is a premier gathering event for NGOs and ICT solution providers to meet and share on relevant technology trends and development. The clear and definite objective is to promote a beneficial and effective adoption of ICT applications among NGOs, which in turn contributes to a better service delivery to the needy in our community.

ITRC Forum 2017, with the theme of Social Innovation x Risk Management for NGOs. Evidently, NGOs have been applying more and more ICT with positive results in reducing costs and improving efficiency over the years that ICT applications have become a mission-critical tool to most of the NGOs. In such context, NGOs are convinced that Innovation and Risk Management are important areas they must look into critically in order to maintain a stable and reliable ICT system. ITRC will present research findings in this connection, which would provide good references to NGOs in respect of governance and risk management issues brought by adopting the latest technologies.
